What does "architecture for the people" mean? Basically it means I believe every human has the right to strive for a higher standard of living and quality of life and I know good design raises both. There should be readily available access to these services for every walk of life. That is what I wish to provide and is factor number one.
What it also means is that I look at every aspect of your build project from from inception to lifespan to deconstruction. The philosophy is Cradle to Grave Architecture, that serves the client and leaves the planet in a better way. I am a firm believer that embodied energy has an enormously high value and that the greenest home is the one that is already built. But when we must build new, the question is how do we do that in a sustainable and conscious way. This has many paths but all must fundamentally look at every step of the project. Whether that means recycling or upcycling existing materials from demolition or choosing the least toxic materials to build your new project with. I understand this process and will make informed decisions with you.

Patric le Beau has over 20 years of professional architectural experience, including 7 years working in an international firm on large-scale commercial projects & 3 years in a residential design studio before starting his own successful practice. Patric holds registered architectural licenses in both North Carolina & California and is a Licensed North Carolina residential general contractor. His extensive portfolio includes multi-story commercial & residential buildings as well as private residences & small-scale remodels. This diverse experience ensures that Patric can tackle almost any architectural challenge with confidence and expertise.
When not working as an Architect or Contractor, Patric spends his alternate time designing and building custom furniture. This interest and skill has been with him his whole life and was handed down from Grandfather to Father to Son. This is a growing portion of the business which Patric hopes to expand.
"I support the idea that design elevates our standard of living and I believe that every human being is entitled to a certain standard, level of dignity and self-respect. Our built environments, where we live and work, have the ability to instill this self worth. Additionally, I believe that we are borrowing this planet for a short period of time. In return our built environment must reflect that mentality. Reductions of waste must be sought and efficiencies must be pursued. I strive to have a focus on Appropriate Technology and Sustainable Design in all my projects. Unless these factors are considered there can be no good design. I am a devoted outdoorsmen who loves to travel and among other expeditions I have completed several solo thru-hikes, including across the states of Arizona & North Carolina, approximately 800 & 1000 miles, respectively.
I am now offering architectural services for residential & light commercial buildings. This practice can also provide residential designbuild and custom furniture design. My goal is to help guide you on a creative and enjoyable experience manifesting dreams and creating a better built environment. I look forward to meeting you and discussing your project soon."
